Download Remote Desk

Install the same app on both computers. All builds are published with a SHA-256 checksum on the official download page so you can verify what you install.

Android controller app (Android 9+) is coming soon.  ·  Installers are currently unsigned — always compare the SHA-256 shown on remotedesk.aixoratech.in before installing.

Everything You Need, Nothing You Didn't Ask For

Each capability is a permission. The remote side decides what a session may do, and every session is visible while it runs.

End-to-End Encryption

Screen, input, clipboard and files are encrypted between the two devices only. Our software never sees your screen or your data.

Consent-First Attended Access

Nobody can view or control a computer until the person at that computer clicks Allow. An always-visible session banner shows while a session is active.

Unattended Access (Opt-in)

Off by default. Enable it per device with a strong password (Argon2id-protected); the proof is bound to the encrypted channel so it cannot be replayed, and repeated failures lock the requester out.

Live Screen, Keyboard & Mouse

Smooth live screen viewing with full mouse, scroll and keyboard input including modifiers and shortcuts. Control is a separate permission granted per session.

Clipboard Sync & File Transfer

Copy text and move files between the two computers when both sides allow it. Disabled by default, never executed and never logged.

Written in Rust for Security

Remote Desk is built in Rust, a memory-safe systems language. It eliminates entire classes of vulnerabilities at compile time, such as buffer overflows and use-after-free bugs, which are the most common security flaws in remote access tools written in C or C++.

Identity You Can Check

Each computer gets a 9-digit Remote Desk ID derived from a device key that never leaves it. Computers on the same network are discovered automatically; others can be reached by ID or address.

Windows, macOS & Linux

One app for every desktop: Windows 10/11, macOS 12+ and Linux (Ubuntu .deb or portable AppImage). An Android controller app for phones and tablets is on the way.

Zero Telemetry

No analytics, no tracking, no phone-home. The only network connections are to the peer you connect to and, only when you ask, the update manifest.

How It Works

Up and running in under two minutes — no registration, no email, no OTP.

Install on Both Computers

Download Remote Desk from the official page and install it on the support technician's and the customer's machine.

Share the Remote Desk ID

Open the app — the 9-digit Remote Desk ID is shown on the dashboard. Computers on the same network also appear automatically.

Click Allow

The technician requests a session; the customer approves it and chooses what to permit — view only, control, clipboard or files.

Support, Securely

Work on the remote screen over an end-to-end encrypted channel. A visible banner shows the session, and the customer can end it any time.

Built for Privacy & Security

Remote Desk is local-first and peer-to-peer. Here is exactly what it does — and does not — do with your data.

No accounts, no cloud

Nothing to sign up for. Both computers run the same app and connect to each other directly.

Memory-safe by design (Rust)

Built in Rust, so buffer overflows, use-after-free and data races are prevented by the compiler rather than patched after the fact.

Zero telemetry

The only network connections are to the peer you connect to and, if you ask, the update manifest.

Keys stay on your device

A key pair is generated on first start. The private key never leaves the device; your ID is derived from the public key.

Local security log

Connection events are logged locally — never passwords, keys, clipboard text, files or screen content.

Works on LAN and over the internet

Peer-to-peer on your network; reachable remotely through VPN, port forwarding (TCP 48100) or the relay.

Honest about limits

Early release (v0.1.0). First contact is trust-on-first-use, installers are unsigned, and no independent audit has been done yet. A full threat model ships with the app.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Remote Desk really free?
Yes. Remote Desk is a free software product from Aixora Tech. There is no sign-up, no subscription and no paid tier. Download it from remotedesk.aixoratech.in, install it on both computers and connect.
Is the remote connection encrypted?
Yes. Every session is end-to-end encrypted between the two devices. Screen images, keyboard and mouse input, and (if you enable them) clipboard text and files travel only between your two computers. Aixora Tech never sees your screen or your data.
Why is Remote Desk more secure than other remote desktop tools?
Remote Desk is written in Rust, a memory-safe systems language. Rust prevents whole classes of vulnerabilities at compile time, such as buffer overflows and use-after-free bugs, which are the most common security flaws in remote access software built in C or C++. On top of that, every session is end-to-end encrypted, there are no accounts or cloud servers to breach, access is consent-first, and the app sends no telemetry.
Does Remote Desk need an account or a cloud server?
No. There is nothing to sign up for and no cloud service. Both computers run the same application and connect to each other directly. Each computer gets its own 9-digit Remote Desk ID derived from a key that never leaves the device.
Can someone connect to my computer if they know my Remote Desk ID?
No. In attended mode you must click Allow before anyone can see or control your screen. Unattended access is off by default; if you enable it, the other side needs the password you set (minimum 10 characters), and repeated wrong guesses lock them out.
Can I use Remote Desk over the internet?
Remote Desk is peer-to-peer and works out of the box on the same network, where computers are discovered automatically. It also works over the internet when the remote computer is reachable — for example through a VPN, port forwarding (TCP 48100) or the relay.
Does Remote Desk collect telemetry?
No. The application makes no network connections except to the peer you connect to and, only when you ask it to check for updates, to the release manifest on remotedesk.aixoratech.in.
